Product Description

Prunus avium ' Van' An old variety from Canada, raised in 1944 & used in the breeding of most modern cultivars. It produces heavy crops of large, firm, true black fruits with an excellent sweet flavour. The eating quality is superb. Suitable for the north. Requires a pollinator. Pollination: Requires a pollinator. (Pollinated by Cherokee, Colney, Kordia, Napoleon Bigarreau, Penny, Stella, Summer Sun or Sunburst). Season: mid July. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
