Product Description

Ribes nigrum ' Ben Alder' A new blackcurrant, producing very heavy crops of medium sized berries late in the season. In commercial trials in Norfolk it was the highest yielding variety. The bush is vigorous & has good resistance to mildew & leaf spot. The fruits contain high levels of anthocyanins (thought to confer major health benefits) & have a typical blackcurrant flavour.   Season: from late July. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
