Malus domestica ' Core Blimey' This highly flavoured Cox-like apple is crisp & juicy & wonderfully aromatic. It is easier to grow than Cox, appears to be disease resistant & is suitable for growing countrywide. Developed for the London Urban Orchard Project, a charity that promotes community orchards & fruit tree growing in the capital, it gets its name from the fun cockney phrase that dates back to the 1880’s.   Pollination: Group B. Season: Oct
- Jan. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
