The unique woven & knotted design creates an extremely strong cover that can be re-used many times over, saving on the annual purchase costs of traditional 17g fleece. Envirotect allows high light transmission (86% when new) & for air & water to permeate through, creating an ideal micro-climate for crop development. The retention of radiant heat gives higher day & night-time temperatures, enhancing crop growth & an element of frost protection. Envirotect can be used to cover frost sensitive plants & will advance growth & cropping of early planted crops such as salads, potatoes & brassicas. It will also protect crops from heavy rain, hail, wind, soil splash, birds, rabbits & many insects.  Soft & gentle on the crop, Envirotect is made from U.V. stabilized polyethylene & will not degrade in sunlight. It is extremely strong & will not tear, having a 5-6 year life expectancy with repeated use.
