Malus domestica ' Arthur Turner' Raised in 1912, this is one of the best early cooking apples & a popular garden variety. Cooks to a well flavoured yellow puree requiring little added sugar. Also delicious baked. Heavy cropping. Resistant to scab. Suitable for the north & wet areas.      Pollination: Partially self-fertile. Group B. Season: Sept
