Product Description

Malus domestica ' Spartan' This dark red dessert apple is very popular with children & is perfect for making toffee apples!  The small sized fruits are crisp & juicy with a refreshing, sweet flavour. When at its best, the flavour is often described as vinous, resembling something between strawberry & melon. Heavy cropping & easy to grow, the tree has good resistance to scab & mildew but can be prone to canker in wet regions. Pollination: Group B. Season: Oct
