Biological media creates the perfect conditions for the colonisation of healthy bacteria that break down harmful toxins. The entire filter volume can be utilised because of the pearl-like anti-blocking shape of this media
- this allows longer intervals between cleaning. Use this media in the Eheim range of internal filters. You will also require a layer of mechanical media. In unison using these media will take out waste from the water.
