Situated on the banks of the Azmak River, the Ottoman Residence opened in May 2005. The Ottoman Residence is reminiscent of an Ottoman Han, the rooms overlooking a central courtyard with a water feature. Built in the Mugla style, natural wood was used extensively in the construction of the hotel & incorporates the 500 year old Ottoman details & motifs. Built & designed by Tevfik Toprak o+c, who is a well known architect in the area, this was his masterpiece & he has paid attention to every detail for example the different motifs which are depicted on the backs of chairs & below the handrails, have been copied from ancient structures. Most of the pictures used in the Ottoman Residence are original paintings & represent scenes from the Akyaka area.
