CMC Diecast 1:18 Mercedes W125 1937-38. Various setbacks with the W25 in 1936 moved Daimler-Benz to make decisive changes. In order not to fall behind Auto Union it was quickly decided to begin the new season with a fully revised racing car. At the beginning of 1937 the W125 was launched. This new model would soon prove that Daimler-Benz had achieved a masterpiece. The German racing cars were now so in advance of their competitors that the season was really just a duel between Mercedes-Benz & the Auto Union. The W125 marked the technical zenith in the construction of racing cars.
