In a relatively short Formula 1 racing career, Damon Hill achieved much, including the World Championship in 1996, and was a great ambassador for British sport. From his first full season in 1993, to his famous victory at the British Grand Prix in 1994. Through his battles with Michael Schumacher in 94/95, rising to the challenge of team mate Jacques Villeneuve in 96, in the uncompetitive Arrows Yamaha, but for an hydraulics failure, victory was assured at the Hungarian Grand Prix and, in 1998, we all remember his historic race at Spa to give the Jordan F1 team it’s first ever F1 victory. By Colin Carter this picture painted in 1999 is available as a limited edition F1 art print on Giclee Canvas (100), stretched on to 2" stretcher bars measuring 120x 90cm or as a lithograph (250) measuring 90 x 70cm. The field gets away in the 1948 RAC Grand Prix on October 2nd 1948; the first ever event on the disused wartime airfield at Silverstone. Winner of the race was Luigi Villoresi in the works 4CLT Maserati number 18; who started at the back of the grid with his team-mate Alberto Ascari; who finished second; as their cars had arrived too late to practice. Michael Turner was a young spectator at the race; and has painted the scene for the BRDC to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the circuit. His atmospheric painting provides a lasting reminder of the early beginnings of this famous track and a striking contrast with today`s Grand Prix scene. This is a limited edition of 500 grand prix art prints; produced from the original picture. Measures 50 x 43cm. Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist. CMC Diecast 1:18 Ferrari 250GT SWB 1961 - Red. Probably no other model has such a lasting and sensational impact on the history of Ferrari and the popularity of the Scuderia as the 250 GT SWB does. More than 40 years later, this model is still hard to be foreshadowed, thanks to its graceful contour, flowing line management, and harmonious proportionality. Indeed it belongs to the most desired of all vintage cars. What with its unique quality, this legendary Berlinetta mediates superbly between being a roadworthy car and an excellent racing car. In actuality, the Berlinetta set a historic record in terms of the number of victories clinched by a single model during its ten years of active participation in car racing. CMC has dedicated itself to reproducing the luxury (Lusso) edition of the 250 GT SWB – based on a street-version built in 1961. The all-metal model is composed of 1.141 parts and it is completely hand-assembled. Every detail of the body, as designed by Sergio Pininfarina, became transferred exactly and presented in a miniature form that is true to the original. Named after its builder, the Colombo-twelvecylinder-V-engine is a feast for the eyes as well. Look at it and you could hear the revving and roaring sound of a powerful twelve-cylinder. Now if you wish, you can fantasize jumping into the model’s bucket seat and waiting for the command, ”Gentlemen, start your engines!“ ****LIMITED AVAILABILITY - PLEASE CONTACT US TO CONFIRM IN STOCK.****

During the 2003 season Jenson Button regularly out-qualified BAR Honda team mate, and ex world Champion, Jacques Villenueve. Jenson Buttons performances justified some podium finishes such as at the US F1 Grand Prix, which he led for 15 laps, and where he was in a comfortable second position, when his car gave out. But it was not to be! A brilliant fourth place for Jenson Button at the last race of the season, at the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, gave BAR Honda fifth position in the constructor's Championship. By Colin Carter this picture is available as a limited edition F1 art print on Giclee Canvas (100), stretched on to 2" stretcher bars measuring 120x 90cm or as a lithograph (500) measuring 90 x 70cm. Each Formula One art print is individually signed and numbered by the artist. Please allow a few extra days for delivery of this item.
CMC Diecast 1:18 Auto Union Type C 1936-7. This racing car developed by Ferdinand Porsche wrote racing history right away like almost no other racing car had done before: In 1936 Auto Union presented with the Type C a monoposto which was almost totally different from all the other racing cars known so far. What stood out especially was the unconventional design of the sensational 16-cylinder. V-engine installed behind the driver and in front of the rear axle – an innovation which soon became the accepted thing. This high- performance racing car was above all so successful because the bullet with 520 hp was driven by a highly talented racing driver: Bernd Rosemeyer. 1936 was his most successful year when he became European Champion and won numerous Grand Prix. In 1937 the new ace of the Auto Union could keep his main competitor, Mercedes-Benz, in check as well and was able to continue his successful career with five further wins. At the beginning of 1938, however, his career came to an abrupt and tragical end by a fatal accident which occured during the try of breaking the speed world record. After the end of the Second World War, the remaining racing cars in Zwickau had to be handed over as reparation payment to the Soviet-Union. Till now it`s not comprehensible, what exactly happened to the racing cars after that day. The Auto Union Type C is handmounted from 1026 parts to an extra class precision model. The single parts are of high-quality materials: 23 parts are zinc die-cast, 754 of metal, copper or are photo-etched and 153 are made of plastic. The remaining 96 parts are screws, rivets or indicated screw heads. The “sound-barrier” has been broken: For the first time CMC is presenting a model in the scale 1:18, which is made of more than 1000 parts. ****PLEASE EMAIL OR RING TO CHECK AVAILABILITY. James Toseland, Britain's leading motorbike racer and double World Superbike Champion, has been captured in an oil painting by award-winning artist, Glenn Badham. Commissioned by Odeon International Licensing and signed by James Toseland, just 395 numbered prints will go on sale on 24 July 2009 to coincide with the British round of MotoGP – in which James will be competing. Isle of Man-based James Toseland began racing motorbikes as a teenager and has a huge British fan base. He gained global popularity when he won the World Superbike Championship in 2004 and again in 2007 before moving to the MotoGP series – the Formula One of bike racing – last year.
Rarely do the worlds of motorcycle racing and fine art combine and it is a testament to the skill of Glenn Badham that he has produced a composition of such vibrancy and unparalleled artistic merit. Glenn, whose paintings are in private collections around the world, has also been displayed in the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords. Glenn is no stranger to the passion, frustration and single-mindedness of sportspeople striving to be the greatest, and his recent projects have included painting the Northants Saints rugby squad. The limited edition prints measure 51 x 67 cm (22 x 26 inches) and will go on sale at selected UK art galleries from 24 July. James Toseland says: "I feel honoured to have been painted by Glenn. He has captured the excitement and drama of bike racing in a way I didn't think possible."
