The Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, named after the legendary company founder, was launched in 2002 as an outstanding expression of the concept of extreme sports car, developed for road use, yet epitomising the most advanced concepts of Formula 1 racing technology. The air duct divides the arrow-shaped front of the car so that the 225kg V12 power plant with 6, 0 l capacity and 660 HP performance gets sufficient cooling. The typical round taillights are beside the rear spoiler that reacts to the driving speed. As usual the body design is from Pininfarina. The Audi R8, called after the Le Mans racing car, is the first Audi super sports car. As the production version of the 2003 "Le Mans quattro" concept, the all-wheel driven R8 offers innovative and impressive design with bodywork made of light metal throughout. Driven by the 420 bhp high-revving 4.2 litre V8 engine of the Audi RS4, this agile two-seater accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of over 300 km/h. There is an optional automatic gearbox available and thanks to the magnetic fluid in the shock absorbers an electronically adjustable suspension system can also be ordered.
