It may be some distance from the city centre, but transport links are readily available & the location is also great for the International Congress Centre (ICC), Olympic Stadium & Deutschlandhalle. You can definitely get away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Berlin here. In contrast to the futuristic exterior, the interior of Hotel Senator is comparatively traditional. Rooms are spacious & come with a good view over the Berlin skyline. Rooms look like they have been renovated & are in good condition, but the décor is still simple & nondescript. For the sake of the sweeping view from the 16th floor, don't miss breakfast at the restaurant, even if it's only simple fare. The outdoor scenery changes at night & so does the food, which switches to Mediterranean come dinnertime.
