The Ryobi RPT4545M Hedge Cutter, available from Notcutts, is a very handy tool that helps you take care of branches at unruly heights & angles. It takes over the previous popular model RPT4045 with some great little improvements. The safety switches are closer together making it much more user friendly & also the hedge trimmer comes in 3 separate sections so it can be used with or without the middle section depending on the reach you require. By coming apart means it stores away very easily. This particular model also comes with the facility to attach a harness (included) to help take some of the weight from your arms.
