Starflower or borage seeds are the richest plant source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an important omega-6 fatty acid. Starflower oil is often recommended to women at the time of their period or those going through the menopause and can be taken as an alternative to evening primrose oil. Each easy-to-swallow, one-a-day capsule delivers more than twice the amount of GLA found in an equivalently sized evening primrose oil capsule.

We've chosen to suspend our starflower oil in capsules, not tablets, since a soft-gel casing stabilises the precious ingredients and is more suitable for oil-based materials.
