A major feature of this premium-grade, hard working snow blower is the electric start which gives you control at your fingertips & offers convenience & comfort -no recoil cable to pull, no strain & no freezing fingers. A seven-gear transmission (4 forward & 3 reverse) offers flexibility in choice of gear & a wide speed range to work within, from 1.2kph – 4.17kph, plus a top gear, which can deliver a transport speed of 13.05kph. The snow blowing capability of this machine is impressive. Operating with a 60 cm clearing width & a 62.5cm intake height, this two-stage blower has a strong, heavy-duty, steel auger, machined with teeth to really break into hard ice & compacted snow, as well as a secondary impeller which further agitates the broken snow & ejects it at high speed through a strong, metal snow exit chute. The chute can be rotated, which enables he stream of broken snow to be directed wherever it is convenient. The auger’s height can be adjusted by a pair of snowshoes, one either side of the auger hood. This enables the blower to be used on uneven or loose surfaces like gravel or shingle so you can clear without picking up & throwing unwanted materials. Another major feature of the Bertolini 411/10E is the excellent manoeuvrability, made possible by the inclusion of a differential, controlled from the handlebar, which enable independent control of each wheel, for zero-degree turn capability, so you can get in & out of awkward spaces easily & clear right up to edges, walls & other obstacles if necessary.
