- Georgian (circa 1711) on the east side, an older wing dating back to mid 15th Century plus an Edwardian addition with the large conservatory. The house has a large lawn to the south with a "ha-ha" leading to fields with large mature trees. There are herbaceous borders & a walled vegetable garden leading to an astroturf tennis court with other lawned areas leading to a young arboretum. Internally, the house has lovely spacious rooms, a stunning conservatory, a stone paved hall with a central staircase & nine comfortable bedrooms. There is so much to enjoy within this house, space & a real sense of having arrived it is just ideal for groups or families who would like to take advantage of a unique holiday home in an excellent location. Something for everyone here!!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to a grand hall, with superb stairs leading to upper two floors Television Room with sofas, large TV with Freeview, Sky & DVD player Living / Drawing Room, an enormous room, with multiple sofas & armchairs, open fireplace (please note that this is the only one in the house which should be used) & super views across the gardens. Dining Room, dramatically furnished with a large dining table ideal for up to 16 people Orangery, with dining table & chairs, full of tropical plants & ideal for breakfast & /or lunch with double doors leading the garden Kitchen a large colourful room with 4 door Aga, additional electric ovens, separate gas hob, microwave, two dishwashers, large fridge freezer. There is a second staircase leading to the further bedrooms. Cloakroom with WC & washbasin Cloakroom Two with WC & washbasin in the utility room. Bathroom Five with roll top bath, with handheld shower and WC (shared between bedrooms 8 & 9) Outside There are 28 acres surrounding the property with tennis court (please bring your own rackets) and vegetable garden all included. As you would expect there is a large table plus chairs for al fresco dining. Built in BBQ. Friday Changeover preferred please. No same day changeovers possible, please note. Heating & Electricity included all year. No Pets sorry. Children Welcome. Cot & High Chair available. £950 Damages Deposit required by owner. Wifi is also available. Catering can be organised (to be discussed with the owner)
