Tetbury is an excellent market town, thriving with many events through the course of the year (including the famous Woolsack Races at the end of May). Of particular note are the many antique shops in the town plus Royal shopping in the famous Highgrove Shop and at the Duchy's Veg Shed. Tetbury, in our opinion is the one Cotswold town which many people don't know enough of & therefore often miss the opportunity to see possibly the nicest & most unspoilt town of all in the Cotswolds! Slightly further afield & for the more adventurous are Bath (30 mins) Cheltenham (35 mins) & Oxford (35 mins) along with many other villages & market towns along with National Trust properties & gardens. This location in the southern Cotswolds (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is amongst the finest the region has to offer.
