Spaciously arranged across three flooors, this historic & characterful cottage is an ideal base for exploring this & other popular Cotswolds towns/villages. According to local history this cottage was reserved for the town's ' Toll Collector' hundreds of years ago when the town was the centre for the region's wool & farming trade. In fact we are told the cottage contains the oldest window in Moreton!! Although much has changed, the wonky floors, flagstone floors downstairs and inglenook fireplace all give this home a very special charm. There are three bedrooms spread across the three floors (via steepish stairs). This cottage is suitable for families, friends or couples as it combines a central location with easy access to the shops & pubs in Moreton

ACCOMMODATION: Front door into spacious Living Room with two comfortable sofas, two armchairs, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, large TV, no DVD player. Leading from the Living Room is a Dining Room, a good size with large dining table & six chairs. Please note gas fire in here 'not in use'. Kitchen, fully fitted shaker style, fully equipped with electric hob, oven & grill, microwave, dishwasher & large fridge/freezer. From the kitchen & overlooking the courtyard garden is a modern, insulated Garden Room with seating
- perfect for your morning coffee! Door to cottage garden. Utility Room with washing machine Cloakroom with WC & washbasin. First Floor: Bedroom One, with King size double bed (5ft), wardrobe & ample storage space Bedroom Two with two single beds, looking towards the town centre. Bathroom One with bath, overhead shower, WC & washbasin. Second Floor: Bedroom Three with King size double bed (5ft) plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, WC & washbasin. (Please note that the stairs to this bedroom are quite steep.) Outside The cottage sits close to the centre of Moreton. Although there is no 'designated' parking for Toll Keepers, there is plenty of free, on street parking on the lane outside the cottage. Behind the cottage is a small, courtyard garden which is fully enclosed & well maintained. There is a table & chairs for guests. Pets Welcome. Children Welcome, Cot & high chair available. On Street Parking only. Wifi available & included No smokers. Saturday changeover (other days by arrangement).
