The Byre is a contemporary barn which has been carefully & cleverly modernised to create a welcoming holiday cottage that is situated in a delightful hamlet literally half a mile outside Burford. Internally the cottage is fully equipped with an open plan living space, two bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, while externally the cottage enjoys a private courtyard garden & small private driveway. Almost from the your door it is possible to walk across the fields towards either Burford or Swinbrook, where there are a number of excellent pubs & restaurants. This cottage provides, in our opinion, a high standard of self catering accommodation ideal for a relaxing & quiet break or for use as a base to tour the Cotswolds' region.ACCOMMODATION (all on one level) Entrance through into living area. Living Room with sofa & two chairs, TV with DVD player, french doors to patio garden. Kitchen, fully equipped, with hob & oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine. Ipod docking station with cd/radio. Table & chairs for four people. Bedroom One with large double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV with integral DVD player, plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, h&-held shower attachment., WC & washbasin. Bedroom Two with double bed, wardrobe, TV with integral DVD player & Ensuite Shower Room with WC & washbasin. Outside Patio garden with table & chairs and loungers. The patio is enclosed with a five-bar gate able to be closed. Off-street parking for up to three cars. Central heating & electricity included all year. Children welcome. Cot & highchair available. Please No Pets. No Smokers. Any Day changeover. Location Widford (approximately 1 mile from Burford) is an ideal centre for visiting The Cotswolds area as it is within easy driving distance of popular attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Sudley Castle, Warwick Castle & several National Trust Houses and Gardens. Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Cirencester & Stow on the Wold are all within a 25 minute drive of the property.
