Thames Cottage is a sweet holiday cottage, set within the popular Lower Mill Village, itself part of the 450 acre Lower Mill Estate privately owned nature reserve. The property, which is semi detached, is a traditionally styled Cotswold Stone cottage which sits on the edge of the development, overlooks a little River Thames stream, while a short walk across the lane in front of the cottage, takes you to the lake, where you can sit and enjoy the view across the lake. There are many activities on offer including an outdoor heated swimming pool & tennis court. The cottage is wonderfully welcoming inside & is perfect for couples looking to getaway to the Cotswolds lakes.ACCOMMODATION (All on one level) Entrance into large Kitchen / Living / Dining room. Kitchen with modern appliances, washer/dryer, electric hob & oven, seperate fridge & freezer & microwave. Living area, with woodburner, comfortable sofa (bed*) & chairs, flatscreen TV, DVD with cinema sound system and video. French doors to courtyard & orchard. Dining area with table for four & views towards the Thames & lake! Bedroom with double bed (sleigh 'style'), wardrobe & chest of drawers. Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, WC & washbasin. OUTSIDEThere is a small deck area outside the cottage with table & chairs. in addition, customers have the use of the outdoor heated pool (Easter to end of October) plus tennis court. Excellent & varied fishing within the lakes, plus Spinney Lake is available for non-powered water sports throughout the year. Please note: there is no access to the Art Spa with this property. Heating & Elec incl all year. Starter pack of logs supplied. The pool is normally open during these periods, however, there may be occassion when it may be closed due to maintenance. Please No Pets.
