Rigside Farmhouse is spacious holiday cottage set on the edge of the Cotswolds village of Little Compton. The house has been developed specifically for large groups with accommodation up to 16+ available. The house is surrounded by fields & paddocks &, in our opinion, is simply ideal for large gatherings of friends and/or families. Externally the house sits in an acre size plot on the edge of the village (see below) & is well located for the popular market towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton in Marsh & Stow on the Wold. Similarly near by are a host of beautiful Cotswold villages. Internally the house has large rooms which lend themselves perfectly to entertaining, including a spacious living room with conservatory and a good size traditional kitchen. Please note: Full week bookings only during July & August ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to lobby area with access to the main ground floor rooms Kitchen/ Dining Room fully fitted with range cooker & 2 hob electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave & large fridge, Dining Area with two tables each seating eight - a maximum of 16. Utility Room with washing machine & tumble drier, fridge freezer and washbasin. Bedroom with small single bed. There are two Cloakrooms on the ground floor each with WC & washbasin. Living Room an enormous room with three large sofas & two armchairs, open fire & flatscreen TV with DVD player & Freeview. This room leads into a conservatory with additional seating. French doors to garden beyond. Bedroom One with two single beds plus Ensuite Shower Room, WC & washbasin Bedroom Two with two single beds Bedroom Three has four single beds & en-suite bathroom (* two further beds available) First Floor Bedroom Four with double (or two singles) plus additional single bed plus large TVFamily Bathroom with bath & shower cubicle, WC & washbasin. Bedroom Five with two single beds (can be made into double) with Ensuite Shower Room. Bedroom Six with two single beds & hand basin.. Family Bathroom with bath/overhead shower. - * Extra beds charged at £40 per bed per short stay / £60.00 per week. There is a refundable damages deposit of £300 required for each booking. Property available for a maximum 140 days rental per year Plenty of pubs, restaurants & cafes & shops to visit in nearby Moreton-in-Marsh (approx. 3 1/2 miles) or Chipping Norton (approx. 5 1/2 miles). Trains to London/ Oxford/ Hereford/ Worcester/ from Moreton-in-Marsh station & buses to Banbury, Birmingham & Stratford upon Avon from Chipping Norton.
