Lyneham is well located for visiting all Cotswold attractions & villages including Burford, Stow on the Wold and Blenheim Palace at Woodstock. * Although the village does not have a pub, there is a friendly golf club Approx. a 10 min walk away which welcomes non playing guests for food & drinks. Described as 'a well groomed course that challenges the best golfers.... it has a lovely clubhouse with breathtaking views of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.' We say it's well worth a visit! (01993 831 841 closes at dusk in Winter months.) The popular towns of Stratford upon Avon & Oxford are also within easy driving distance. (Kingham station is approx. 2 miles away, with trains to Oxford, London, Hereford & Worcester.)
