Lodge Cottage is a Seventeenth Century Cottage oozing classic period charm and very much in the midst of the Cotswolds' heart. The cottage which is attached to the owner's home (but barely noticeable) is a quintessential English home, with mullioned windows giving village views, big, well proportioned rooms throughout & stylish furnishings make it ideal for families & friends alike. The owners, in fact, provide a welcoming 'meet & greet' ensuring that your Cotswolds' experience kicks off on the right foot listing all the best places to find grub & the local walks to get that appetite! Within the cottage there are a host of attractive features as well as the normal nitty gritty (oak flooring downstairs, carpets upstairs, well equipped kitchen, log burning fire) which give this cottage a real appeal. The cottage has it's own, enclosed garden, but also enjoys access to a tennis court plus the stunning gardens cared for by the owners. You'll be impressed
- we always are when we visit them!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through porch into living area with oak flooring. Living Area, spacious & beautiful; large sofa (manufactured in the village) plus armchairs, cosy open fire place, large flatscreen TV. Dining Area, similarly spacious, with wooden table & six chairs Kitchen, fully equipped with electric hob & oven grill, dishwasher, large fridge freezer microwave. This leads to an attractive sun room overlooking the garden with table & chairs & access to the gaarden. Utility Room with washing machine & tumble dryer. Cloakroom with WC & washbiasn. Upstairs Master Bedroom, stunning period room with large (king size, 5ft) four poster bed, large flatscreen TV, chest of drawers & wardrobe and sofa. Ensuite Shower Room with shower, WC & washbasin. Bedroom Two with two single beds (which can be zipped together to make a double) with wardrobe & chest of drawers. Family Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC & washbasin. Outside The cottage has its own charming walled garden with a swing for children, opening off French windows from the seating area & a door from the conservatory. There is a table with garden chairs. in addition Lodge Cottage will be able to share the 5 acre gardens of Kingham Lodge with its beautiful ponds, lawns, shrubberies, pergola & parterre. There is also use of the hard tennis court by arrangement. Use of the private swimming pool until 10:30am every morning & also at other times by prior arrangement with the owner. Heating & Electricity incl. Starter logs supplied. Please note: A £500 refundable security deposit required by owner prior to arrival. Wifi incl. Cot & High chair available. Ample off street parking. Sorry No Pets. Friday Changeover preferred, other days subject to approval
