With wonderful touches, such as the, now legendary, Welcome Hamper filled with local goodies & the warm personal greeting extended to every guest by it's owner, The Countess Bathurst, this is an exceptional place to visit.A stones throw from Cirencester & within walking distance of a train station & the village of Kemble, this delightful & romantic getaway enjoys a beautiful rural situation, surrounded by fields (it lies in the heart of a working farm), & boasting gorgeously tranquil & private surroundings. Keeper's Barn itself combines the traditional Cotswold charm of open ceilings & exposed beams making it light & airy in Summer; yet still cosy & warm in Winter, ensuring it offers the best of an elegant rural retreat year round. Internally the property provides the highest quality of self catering accommodation &, since it's new management in July 2013, there have been many upgrades & improvements, including new furnishings, the addition of colourful art, better lighting, the installation of free Wi Fi (subject to availability) iPod dock
- & a FABULOUS new kitchen. No detail has been overlooked
- from the new squishy sofa, to the wonderfully equipped kitchen & bathroom
- not forgetting the fantastically comfortable bed with it's silky Egyptian cotton sheets & soft fluffy towels! Kemble itself is a traditional Cotswold village, well located for touring the entire region
- it also has a small shop & the benefit of a train station with direct links to London. We cannot recommend this beautiful barn more highly. Please note: Clover Barn (also listed at Manor Cottages) & Keeper's Barn can be booked together for a party of eight, as they are situated within 500 yards of each other. IPod dock, Freeview TV & DVD player. Free Wi Fi access. Ceiling to floor windows, offering amazing views. French doors leading to the terrace, looking towards the garden area & fields beyond. ' Sofa bed available – sleeps 2 small children or 1 adult' Bedroom
- With a standard double bed & wardrobe. Lovely high ceiling with exposed oak beams. Soft Egyptian cotton sheets & duvet covers. Non-allergy bedding throughout. Bathroom

- The garden is surrounded by a Cotswold stone wall & can be completely enclosed. It backs onto open fields & countryside, with fabulous uninterrupted views. The only neighbours you will interact with are the horses sometimes grazing in the next door pasture! Charcoal barbecue available at the cottage. Keeper's Barn is a dog-friendly zone! No Smokers please. Free Wi Fi available, please note this is Satellite Wi-fi suitable for basic browsing & checking emails but not suitable for downloading or streaming films. Heating & electricity included. Please note that Badminton Horse Trials are charged at High Season prices. The owner requires a £100 damages deposit.
