The Hayloft is a superb barn conversion located on the edge of the very quiet hamlet of Lyneham. As the name suggests the barn was once the hayloft of this farm, but today has been converted to provide spacious accommodation for up to seven people. Internally the cottage has been renovated to a very high standard creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere which is ideal for families & small groups. As one would expect, the cottage retains many character features including exposed walls & beams! Located on a small & quiet lane, this holiday cottage, in our opinion, is an ideal family destination. ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to small lobby area. Living / Dining Room, open plan & very light with windows along the entire length of one wall overlooking the lane & fields beyond. Two sofas (one a sofa bed at extra charge
- see below) and arm chair, TV & DVD player, plus table & chairs for eight people. Kitchen, fully equipped with electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier & dishwasher. Bathroom with wet room / shower WC & washbasin. Upstairs Bedroom One with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Bedroom Two with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers plus extra bed (at extra cost, see below) Bedroom Three with single bed Family Bathroom with bath & shower, WC & washbasin. Outside There is a private patio & enclosed garden, plus a screened patio with patio table & chairs. Pets Welcome, but charged at £25 per pet. Children Welcome. No smokers Heating & Electricity included. Cot & High Chair available. Extra bed (in bed two) & sofa bed available at £40 each per stay or per week. Fishing available nearby. Golf within walking distance This holiday cottage is located in the hamlet of Lyneham which enjoys an 'open house' style golf club which is within walking distance
- open to all for drinks/bar food & of course, a round of golf. It has a large rooftop terrace which can be a very enjoyable spot to watch the world go by. Centrally situated, the hamlet is about 7 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford & Bourton-on-the-Water. Trains for London/ Paddington from nearby Kingham.
