Product Description

Hidden in one of the Cotswolds' best kept secrets (Nailsworth
- voted 32 in the top 50 places to live in Briitain by the Sunday Times), Gig Mill is a glorious holiday home set within a historic, converted mill that is as ideal for weekend recharge as it is for a family holiday. The mill, formerly where the tennis balls for Wimbledon & the green baize for snooker tables were once made, has been carefully & gradually brought back to life & today stands proud in an absolutely outstanding Cotswolds' location. There are miles & miles of walks in all directions, including the stunning Minchinhampton Common & 3 golf courses. The property also borders Gatcombe Water (which once fed the mill's turbines) adjacent to Gatcombe Park, the home of The Princess Royal, where you can relax, view the wildlife & listen to the rush of the nearby waterfall. There are also two great villages nearby
- so you have everything on your doorstep. Inside the property you will find modern interiors, a cool contemporary kitchen with all the gizmos, a large living room & an absolutely belting master bedroom suite. The second bedroom has its own ensuite too! Blissfully rural, deep in the Cotswolds, you are in real countryside with peace surrounding you & yet some of the regions' best pubs & shops all within a few miles! ACCOMMODATIONEntrance at ground floor to a lobby area with coat stand etc, leading to hallway for bedrooms. The living space is downstairs. Master Bedroom, large vaulted room with huge oaks beams, with King Size double bed (5ft), wardrobe & chest of drawers, Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC & washbasin. Outside From the living rooom, there is a small courtyard area with a table & chairs, there is also a second area upstairs (where you enter) which is also for guests use. Beyond this are the grounds surrounding the Longfords Mill which are extensive & perfect for walking. We must highlight, that there is a lake (Gatcombe Water) about 100 yards away from the building, which whilst attractive & bustling with wildlife, care should be taken when bringing young children.
