This Malbec has been produced in a small area close to St. Chinian, in well-exposed & naturally low-yielding vineyards. It strikes an excellent balance between the traditionally robust & tannic wines of Cahors & the more fruit driven Malbecs from the New World, with its concentrated dark prune & blackcurrant fruit coupled with lighter tannins for a more elegant structure. A great accompaniment for strong cheeses or red meat casseroles.
