Trimbach is a superb family-run producer that dates back to 1626. Their wines typically have very fine fruit & high acidity. They describe Riesling as the ' King of the wines of Alsace'. Developed on the nose & showing a hint of mineral flavour, good ripeness & acidity. White peach, quince, grapefruit & lemon all come through on the palate & the finish is clean & dry. Try this with lightly spiced Asian dishes or smoked mackerel.
