Product Description

The historic town of Gaillac is located just north of Toulouse, & is in the centre of one of Frances earliest known viticultural hotspots. The red varieties are grown predominantly on the River Tarns left bank, favoured for its deep gravel soils. A middlewieght wine typical of Southwest France, with intense red fruit aromas, tinged with liquorice notes. Nicely structured on the palate, with a pleasing balance of roundness & power. Perfect with simple & tasty French inspired cuisine, such as grilled Toulouse sausages.
