Product Description

This Pinot Gris comes from Marlboroughs Omaka Valley, from St. Clairs Block 5 vineyard, also known as Bulls Block, as it was previously a grazing paddock for bulls. The long ripening period afforded by the climate ensures fruit with an intense & expressive profile. Intensely fragrant, this wine abounds with aromas of ripe pears, almonds & fresh bread. A mouth-filling palate, with a rich, oily texture & layers of ripe melon flavours. Equally adept as a partner for lightly spiced Oriental dishes, as it is partnered with soft, ripe cheeses.
