Real Compañía de Vinos was established in 2007 by Bodegas Muriel, as a project focusing on producing single-varietal wines from both Spanish & international grape varieties. Their Verdejo comes from north-central Spain, where the moderate climate suits delicate whites. A fine, pale straw yellow, with greenish tinges. Aromas are predominantly citrus but subtly tropical, with hints of fennel & scrubland herbs adding a characteristically savoury finish. Chill well. Try this with a mackerel salad.
