Product Description

Part of our Pop-Up Cellar sourced by Lay & Wheeler. Tasted alongside the grand vin, the 2010 Reserve de la Comtesse is now a very serious wine in its own right. A wonderfully exotic & expressive nose of cassis, apricot & classic Pauillac notes of pencil lead & cedar. A gorgeous satin-like texture envelopes layers of fruit. Cassis, blackberry & chocolate notes are underpinned by super-fine tannins & refreshing acidity. There is a real swagger about this wine, showing balance, purity & grace, but with a definite wow factor.
