Product Description

Literally 'green wine' from the Minho region of Northern Portugal. Historically fermented in open stone lagares before being run off into cask & undergoing malolactic fermentation. Fermentation now occurs in vat, retaining the classic spritz or CO2 bubble in the wine. Complex aromas of white & tropical fruits, citrus & white flowers. A lively & stimulating wine, with good acidity & well balanced, hints of spritz & bubble, with a concentrated & fresh finish. At its best now, as a partner to seafood, green salads & pasta.
