Product Description

This spectacular Albariño comes from a selected south-west-facing plot, which tends to ripen earlier than the rest of Martin Codax's vineyards. Fermentation begins in stainless steel under temperature control, & is completed with a brief period in French Allier oak. The wine has a medium-intensity nose that is subtle & complex, with notes of stone fruit, vegetal tinges & nuanced with spice. Excellent roundness & enduring acidity provide a firm & characterful palate.
