Based in Greenwich, Meantime pride themselves not only on crafting exceptional beers but also on sharing their craft with fans, hence the regular brewery tours that they run. Based on a 150 year old pale ale tradition, when hops needed to be imported from California in order to meet dem&, Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade & Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma. They also use lots of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Spearmint, grass & ‘hop sack’ aromas, fruity citrus flavours & a bitter finish all help to make this pale ale very drinkable. Pair with foods that have a bit of a bite or body, such as mature cheese, penne arrabiata, steak & kidney pie & of course, curry.
