A blend of the Languedocs typical Syrah, Grenache & Carignan, vinified with a view to preservation of the grapes most youthful fruit character. Only 25% of this wine is aged in oak, which lends a little complexity & structure, without over-softening of the ripe berry fruit. Dark violet in colour, with a rounded middleweight core of juicy fruitiness, & subtle notes of garrigue herbs. Has the potential to age for 5 or more years in bottle.
