Domaine de Cigalus was acquired by Gérard Bertrand in 1995, & is one of his most prized estates, farmed entirely using biodynamic methods. This unusual white blend is 70% oak-fermented before reblending & ageing in oak for 6-8 months. Invitingly golden in colour, this is an intense & complex wine, full of grapefruit, white peach & honey aromas, with subtle hints of dried fruits & toast. Silky, ripe & involving. superb accompaniment for a selection of ripe soft cheeses.
