Tenuta Moraia is located in Maremma, in the south-western part of Tuscany. As with most of the regions red wines, Sangiovese forms the backbone, with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon here adding darker fruit character & extra body. Bright crimson in colour with a matching aromatic profile: red cherry, raspberry & red pepper aromas predominate, with very subtle spice. Medium palate weight & flavours of cherry & liquorice. Complements the fresh acidic zip of traditional pasta sauces, such as arrabiata or primavera.
