Product Description

The small town of Gevrey-Chambertin in Côte de Nuits produces some of the richest, most muscular wines in Burgundy. Domaine Chevalier has bottled Gevrey-Chambertin every year since 1959. With a profound nose of cherries & strawberries, enhanced by subtle spice, a powerful & concentrated palate of ample red fruits & berries balanced by a firm structure, leading to a long finish. A good Gevrey-Chambertin like this will reward a few more years in the bottle. Drink it with roast grouse, chestnuts & mushrooms.
