Gevrey-Chambertin was one of the first villages in the Côte de Nuits to establish itself as a viticultural hotspot. Its slopes of sparse, limestonerich soils are known for producing Pinot Noir.with good body & power. Deep red in colour with complex aromas of black fruits, liquorice & leather with smoky undertones. Nice balance in the mouth with supple tannins. An elegant wine with a long finish. A fine accompaniment to roasted guineafowl or pheasant with wild mushrooms.
