Having grown up in a winemaking family, Jeanne Gaillard went on to study winemaking at the Beaune Viticultural High School, working for some prestigious producers in Burgundy & California, before taking over this domaine of her own, aged just 24. Fresh & supple Syrah with a vibrant crimson colour. The nose is blackcurrant & red cherry scented, with very subtle black & white pepper spice. Medium-bodied, with fine, slightly savoury tannins. Best served with grilled or barbecued pork or lamb chops.
