Albarin is native to the valleys of the Picos de Europe in northern Spain & is extremely rare: only around 100 hectares of vineyards are planted with this variety. 20 of those are owned by Pedro Gonzalez Mittelbrun, who makes this wine. Extremely fresh & aromatic, combining gooseberry, citrus fruit & hints of fresh green herbs, with a gently tropical edge. Crisp & refreshing acidity. Enjoy on its own or with seafood tapas such as squid, octopus or prawns.
