Magari is an Italian word meaning if only, would that it were true & perhaps. The brilliant 2001 Magari is a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, & 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. With lush Merlot fruit & spicy Cabernet aromas. There are blackcurrants & a touch of mint on the palate, scented with a hint of coffee. It is fleshy, round, yet elegant & silky in texture.
