This is the wine into which the domaine puts the most work & thought. It is one of the finest Côte-Rôtie currently being produced & one of the best wines we tasted during our trip to taste the vintage. Such refined power, this is serious & persistent without ever feeling aggressive. There are notes of iron & meat in combination with creamy bramble fruits, all bound together with superbly judged tannins & oak.
