Product Description

Barbera is a prolific Italian grape variety grown in Piedmont & particularly around the towns of Alba & Asti. This Barbera d' Alba is made by the excellent De Forville family using fruit from over 40 years old vines. Very concentrated dark fruits on the nose, with well integrated spices. This exhibits confected dark cherry fruits with hints of chocolate, cloves & vanilla. Well integrated & silky smooth finish. Meat dishes with grilled vegetables will complement this wine superbly.
