The Andes mountains dominate the western skyline in Mendoza. Cool evening temperatures in Catena’s high altitude vineyard, in addition to the exclusive use of free-run juice, emphasize the varietal Cabernet character in this quality red. A concentrated nose of plummy flavours & a palate jam-packed with ripe black fruit. A great, fruit-driven example of this classic variety. Drink this wine at room temperature, with meats & cheeses or enjoy on its own.
