Product Description

Aglianico del Vulture is Basilicatas only DOC wine. It is also one of the most important wines of southern Italy. The vineyards are situated on soil of volcanic origin from Mount Vulture. The DAngelo winery has been at the forefront of viticulture in Vulture. With a bouquet of black berries, cherry, mocha & hints of spice, this wine is full bodied yet perfectly balanced with flavours of black berries & cherries, hints of clove & nutmeg. This wine would be a perfect match with venison or peppered steak.
