Product Description

Fruit grown in Vergelegen's own vineyards as well as from vineyards in the Elgin & Overberg regions. Grapes from Vergelegen's vineyard are planted on South & South-western slopes planted & 200-230 metres above sea level in granites or clay-based Clovelly soils. A range of flavours are in abundance: gooseberries, figs, elderflower & clean cut grass to name a few. Perfectly balanced, with a racy acidity & mineral structure finishing elegantly & at length. Enjoy over the next two years with pan fried fish, pork chops or scallops.
