Among the lower-lying of the Terrazas vineyards, yet still at a 980m above sea level, the sunny yet cool climes of the Los Aromos vineyard in Perdriel produce a Cabernet Sauvignon of astonishing ripeness & intensity, coupled with a delicacy of texture. Smoothed by 18 months' maturation in French oak, the wine is dense & tightly knit, with aromas of tobacco leaf & clove. Has great ageing potential, yet is enjoyable now.
