Product Description

This wine is made by an acclaimed cooperative in Cariñena, a small wine region to the east of Rioja, & is an extensively oak-aged blend of traditional Spanish grape varieties, bolstered by the addition of a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon. Brilliant garnet red with an orange hue. The bouquet offers a complex mixture of roasted chestnuts, vanilla & savoury balsamic notes. Refined & smooth on the palate, with woody notes on the finish. Best served with lamb or rabbit stew, or with a selection of mature cheeses.
